Fort Summer (IRE)
Updates
P2P.ie Review: Fort Summer has had three starts to date for handler Warren Ewing. The son of Kalanisi showed plenty of promise when third on his debut at Ballycahane in the four-year-old geldings’ maiden under Derek O'Connor. Jumping well throughout, the gelding held the advantage before tiring on the run to the penultimate obstacle in testing conditions. This €12,500 foal subsequently finished fifth on his following start in a competitive race at Liscarroll and fell last time out at Taylorstown in the hands of P A King. Out of an unraced dam who is a half-sister to a two-time winner under rules, Fort Summer is yet to show his best and could be an interesting sort in for new connections.
