The runner up had been a very smart second at Ballingarry giving this maiden the confidence any potential purchaser would require. The early pace required speed to be called upon in this maiden and he was the one with the most class and natural speed to come out on top. In a race run in this manner it is difficult to win by a wide margin but it was apparently obvious that he was quickening away from the last to the line and the gap was widening with each and every stride. He was well respected as a store where he realised €54,000 and is out of a mare who won on the flat to further confirm speed is evident. He is a brother to Gemix also and has all the attributes to be a high class NH recruit.
