P2P.ie Review: Drenagh was having a fourth career start when finishing a fine third at Ballindenisk for Co. Antrim handler Stuart Crawford. This son of Kalanisi was always quite close to the pace, before making steady headway over the final mile where he progressed to go third before the second-last obstacle and ran on well in the home straight to take the third place spot for his connections. The five-year-old ultimately finished just five and a half lengths third, where there was a further eight lengths back to the fourth horse. The bay gelding is a half-brother to four-time track winner On The Record and is also out of a half-sister to Goonyella, who is a three-time track winner and a three-time points winner. This likeable youngster lost little in defeat and is bred to develop into a smart sort on the track, who could have a lot to offer to new connections.
