Vanillier (FR)
Updates
P2P.ie review: Related to a number of track winners, as is to be expected from a horse that cost €40,000 at the Goffs Land Rover Sale, Vanillier had clearly been pleasing connections ahead of his debut at Castletown-Geoghegan in the spring as he was supported before the off resulting in him being sent off at the top of the market. Whilst he pulled up on that occasion, he gave a better account of himself on his return to action at Dromahane when the final four-year-old maiden of 2019. Always racing up with the pace, he had to prove his toughness in the conditions, as despite getting briefly headed when challenged by no fewer than three rivals at the last, he showed his resolution by battling back to regain the advantage and win by three quarters of a length in a time six seconds faster than the days average.
