Megaboost made a very promising debut at Aghabullogue in January when finishing second to the impressive Bay Ambition in a five-year-old mares’ maiden. The daughter of Court Cave led or disputed the running until being headed before the final fence where she stayed on gamely to take the runner-up spot, just two lengths behind the winner. A half-sister to three winners, Megaboost is out of a half-sister to the prolific Listed winner in France, Irish Holmes. This eye-catching mare gave a very positive account of herself and having shown these encouraging signs on debut, she will surely not be waiting long to enter the winners enclosure.
