P2P.ie Review
Bay Ambition made her debut a winning one when she took her five-year-old mares’ maiden at Aghabullogue in January. Given a patient ride, Bay Ambition produced a strong challenge before the final fence where she went onto take up the lead and kept on under pressure to win by two lengths. One of four newcomers in the line-up, the daughter of Oscar is out of a half-sister to the Grade 1 placed Aztec Warrior and also to the dam of Grade 2 winners, Bonny Kate and Mala Beach. From a family of some decent performers, she looks like a mare that can develop into a smart track performer and will be a real addition to any trainer’s yard in mares’ races over the coming seasons.
