P2P.ie Review
Ballydun Oscar heads to the sales following his success at Killeagh in January on what just his second start between the flags. The six-year-old stepped up from a creditable fifth-placed debut effort at Lisronagh in late-October to gain a deserved victory. Having been given a waiting ride by Derek O’Connor, he began to take closer order on the final mile before leading at the final fence where the son of Oscar quickened clear from the rest of the field to win by three lengths over his runner-up who had been placed on his three runs this season. Out of a dual hurdle winning mare, Ballydun Oscar looks like the horse that can make his mark on the track for his new connections.
