P2P.ie Review: Onthepulse overturned a very warm odds-on favourite to oblige at Cragmore on his debut. In a tactical affair, the Oscar gelding kept on strongly when the favourite began to tire approaching the final fence in testing conditions, ultimately prevailing by a comfortable 2 lengths. Having shown signs of greenness, there is likely considerably improvement to be found from him, which will allow him to continue to develop into a smart type, as he beat a nicely bred and well fancied Pat Doyle and Walter Connors youngster, which has to give great confidence to the performance which he produced on debut.
