Review: Fourteen horses lined up in division II of the point-to-point bumper run at Barbury Racecourse on Sunday, but at the finish there was only one horse in it. He’s A Knowall sprinted clear of the field turning for home, eventually winning by 15 lengths in a time that was ten seconds faster than division I of the race. A good-sized horse who was given time to mature before his debut, he looks ready to start over hurdles and he comes from a family that has shown talents on the Flat and over jumps. His granddam produced the Gr.3 Prix Lutece-placed Armand, but also the smart jumpers Guilder, Goss and Rock Gone, while the third dam finished fourth in the French Oaks and produced Ribblesdale Stakes winner Ballinderry, the dam of Gr.1 French Derby winner Sanglamore. For a jumping prospect there is plenty of speed in the family.
