P2P.ie Review: Onagatheringstorm has proven himself to be a ultra-consistent performer that has taken a notable step forward. Following solid displays at both Tinahely and Damma House earlier this season, where he was beaten by less than eight lengths on both outings, the Imperial Monarch gelding gained what was a very much deserved victory at Borris House late last month. Patiently ridden by Barry Walsh on that occasion, he proved to be a game individual, as once coming under pressure from the third last, he kept finding and was certainly doing all of his best work in the closing stages. That saw him put in a particularly good jump at the penultimate obstacle which saw him land running and quickly overhaul the front trio to win going away by three lengths to defeat a previously placed Fame And Glory gelding and a €40,000 Robin Des Champs newcomer.
