P2P.ie Review: Big Shanghai is an exciting Westerner debutante who finished second on debut to the highly regarded Fameaftertheglory at Mainstown on Sunday. He came from slightly behind the pace four out and still had a little bit to find two out before staying on very strongly from the final fence. He looks one who will improve notably for this outing and will be very hard to beat next time. He has clearly an amount of speed which allowed him to get back into a competitive position so late in the race and on his future starts that experience will stand to him. He has a pedigree stacked with tough flat winners so can be expected to drop back in trip and be a very exciting sort also.
