This likeable, five-year-old mare was nothing if not game when making a winning debut in a point-to-point bumper at Chaddesley Corbett in Worcestershire recently. It was the ninth and final race on the card and the ground was nothing if not tiring, but she stuck to the task when chasing down the early pacemaker and then stayed on resolutely to the line to secure a narrow, but deserved victory. The first three pulled well clear of the remaining runners. By a well-known sire who consistently gets winners, she is the daughter of a tough mare who ran in 24 jumps race, winning two handicap chases and being placed over hurdles, while the second dam was a similar type, running 28 times on the Flat and landing three staying races.
