P2P.ie Review: Having cost €48,000 as a store, Name Of Fame made his debut in a big field maiden at Mainstown where he was one of 17 runners. Patiently ridden, the son of Fame And Glory arrived on the scene travelling well into the home straight. As can so often be the case at this venue, there were a whole host of horses with chances at the penultimate fence, but he ran right to the line to finish a very creditable second, getting the better of a vastly more experienced and twice-placed son of Shirocco to hang onto that spot. That was a lovely introduction and a performance which will set him up for his new career on the track.
