P2P.ie review: Hailing from a family with a page full of winners including his half-brother Sizing Coal, who finished third in an Irish National, Upping The Anti bumped into a smart looking winner when making an eye-catching debut at Ballindenisk in late November. Making much of the running, the Valirann gelding led the field into the home straight before being overtaken by a €72,000 store hailing from an in-form stable. Such was the gutsy attitude that he displayed despite his inexperience, he was able to battle back to almost come upsides at the last, ultimately only losing out on a debut success by two lengths in a race which clocked the quickest time of the day, having been responsible for setting most of that gallop.
