1 Townhill Penny (IRE) by Kalanisi (IRE) x Amber Flame (IRE)

P2P.ie review: A tough and consistent mare who get her reward in winning at Kirkistown. It is very encouraging to note her improvement from a fair third at Loughanmore to the well regarded Galia Des Liteaux she then finished a close up third at Tattersalls behind Glen Ava. Putting that experience to good use she then contested a maiden at Kirkistown where she came out on top by half a length from a useful looking Stuart Crawford trained debutante Iconic Rock.  She is out of a sister to Pleasant Company and has proven herself multiple times to suggest she is one who can provide a lot of entertainment for new connections.

5 Saint Davy (FR) by Balko (FR) x Saintejoie (FR)

P2P.ie review: A debut winner of a smart maiden in a fast time is sure to hit every serious purchasers list. A race which has a record of producing top performers going back to the dual Cheltenham Festival winning Champagne Fever could well have unearthed another star. This son of Balko won by a wide margin and in truth was never really asked to show the true level of his ability such was the superiority he enjoyed over his rivals. Although eased down by his rider well before the line the time was still ten seconds faster than the average time on the day suggesting this fellow ticks all the boxes to go to the very top of the National Hunt sphere.

10 Broomfield Present (IRE) by Presenting (GB) x Diklers Oscar (IRE)

P2P.ie review: This Kildorrery maiden winner saw off a determined challenge from Jefferys Cross leading before the last fence to go on and score. He had shown previous form most notably when third on debut at Ballyarthur in March of last year and this was a return to that form suggesting he is now set to realise his full potential. He hails from the family of a Champion Chaser in Newmill and also Mount Colah and Far Away So Close so can be fully expected to develop into another capable NH performer for the page.

11 Lookaway (IRE) by Ask (GB) x Barrack's Choice (IRE)

P2P.ie review: This debut Kildorrery winner produced a performance which was very easy to like. The video gives a wonderful perspective on his ability to cruise at a pace which puts his rivals to the sword. The runner up looked to be a smart Flemensfirth debutante who had realised 45,000 as a three-year-old but this fellow always held his measure all the way to the line in the manner of a horse who would appreciate a step up in class where he would be very much at home. Out of a Westerner sister to Indifference Curve and from the family of Young Snugfit and Cashew King and he looks another high class addition to this page.

12 Upagainstit (IRE) by Presenting (GB) x Sunami Storm (IRE)

P2P.ie review: A son of the great Presenting out of a three times winning Glacial Storm mare who has herself achieved black type for Willie Mullins this fellow was always likely to hold considerable talent. He turned up at Quakerstown and in a very fast time finished a creditable second to the highly talented Saint Davy. This was surely a stepping stone to greater things as he ran on nicely to the line and is certain to have gained plenty from this outing. To add further confidence to this fellows talent he made much of the running on this debut effort suggesting he is an uncomplicated sort who should be able to maximise his ability in the coming seasons.

14 Champagne Town (GB) by Kayf Tara (GB) x Kind Heart (GB)

P2P.ie review: This son of the great Kayf Tara won a top notch maiden at Kirkistown following an exceptional debut at Portrush when a promising third. He travelled close to the pace at Kirkistown in a maiden where the highly regarded Mount Wilson made the running and the Rathcannon runner up Bare Meadows was also among the challengers. Having gone a good strong tempo throughout the injection of pace this fellow showed in the closing stages between the final two fences was clinical and indicative of a horse who has an above average level of talent. He is out of a classy mare who won twice for Sir Mark Prescott before winning on hurdling debut also suggesting she was talented. This fellow has the size, scope and speed to achieve at a very high level it would appear.

15 Rockonsoph (IRE) by Notnowcato (GB) x Fromthecloudsabove (IRE)

P2P.ie review: The debut winner of her maiden at Turtulla this daughter of Notnowcato made all the running and furthermore quickened away smartly to score at her ease. Furthermore she was never asked any question of note of her rider and her ability has not been tested in any meaningful way such was the dominance of this performance where she was always well within herself it seemed. Her dam won a hurdle and two point to points and furthermore the page includes Barters Hill, Badsworth Boy and Fundamentalist suggesting this is a mare ticking boxes to compete for top end mares opportunities in the coming years.

16 Tilly Toughnut (GB) by Blue Bresil (FR) x Presenting Diva (IRE)

UK P2P review: There is plenty of stamina in this filly's family, and she used it to good effect when winning a point-to-point bumper at Ffos Las. Taking a prominent early position she moved to the lead on the final bend, where she was joined by a fancied rival for a battle down the long home straight. Having seen him off another challenger appeared, and once again, although headed, she came back under hands and heels riding to win by a length. It was a fine effort into a headwind by a filly making her racing debut, and she is a big, strong, deep mare who stands 16.2hh and is bound to improve for her debut experience. Her sire no longer needs any introduction, and while her dam showed little in a handful of runs she is a half-sister to five winners under Rules and to a point-to-point winner. Those siblings include the Welsh Grand National winner Sir Rembrandt, who was twice placed in the Cheltenham Gold Cup, and also to the winning chaser and Gr.2-placed hurdler Audacter.

17 Horus du Cerisier (FR) by Coastal Path (GB) x Tyrmix Qana (FR)

P2P.ie review: This is a smart sort who is out of a mare who won on the flat in France suggesting the stamina he displayed in finishing a close second at Knockmullen House will be suitably complimented by a considerable amount of speed also. He lead to the final fence and didn’t quite hold the advantage to the line but it must be considered that the winner had the advantage of track experience so there is good cause to believe that the improvement this fellow should naturally display will see him amongst the winners in the very near future.

18 Crebilly (IRE) by Soldier of Fortune (IRE) x Blueberry Bramble (IRE)

P2P.ie review: This son of Soldier Of Fortune finished third in a top Kirkistown maiden behind the exciting looking Champagne Town who had previously finished placed in a highly regarded Rathcannon maiden. This suggests that this race had plenty of depth and for this debutante to acquit himself as he did is something to take close note of. He did a lot of his work effectively on the final circuit and this would provide a lot of confidence that this winner could well be a tough sort with no issues over stamina and an exceptional attitude. It would be safe to assume that he will improve notably for this debut outing and will be a very difficult opponent wherever he next appears. He is exceptionally well bred being out of a sister to Seven Towers.

21 Aubis Walk (FR) by Walk In The Park (IRE) x Aubisquinette (FR)

P2P.ie review: A very impressive winner of her maiden at Quakerstown when outclassing her rivals in no uncertain fashion. This was a race which had a steady early pace but once it picked up the time recorded was very strong suggesting the runners quickened smartly as the race progressed. The runner up had been second on her previous start to the exciting Galia De Liteaux suggesting this maiden had the depth required to give any serious purchaser comfort. Furthermore this mare had been showing a lot of potential before exiting at the latter stages on her Tattersalls debut. She is a sister to two winners and has multiple high quality relations including Full Of Ambition and Down Ace. She looks ideally place to contest at a high level for the mares opportunities which are now so readily available.

23 Issuing Authority (IRE) by Flemensfirth (USA) x Mini's Last (IRE)

P2P.ie review: A progressive son of Flemensfirth who showed considerable promise on debut at Curraghmore in what appeared to be a top maiden. He then progressed to compete for a Loughbrickland maiden where it took the judge to determine the winner such was the close finish he contested with Lost In Transit. It looked a very competitive affair and he was denied by a very narrow margin where the drop of a head could have seen the result change in a stride or so. He is out of a sister to Anacotty and from the family of Summerville Boy and looks to be on a very much upward trajectory.

24 So They Say (GB) by Malinas (GER) x Feisty Lass (IRE)

UK P2P review: This genuine mare made her racing debut in a seven-runner maiden mares' race at Ffos Las, and  won in great style. Her task was made easier when the favourite unseated four out, but she was upsides him and going at least as well at the time. Unruffled by slight interference at that point she headed to the final fence with her ears pricked before cantering in for an easy success. The second and third came from stables with very good strike rates, and the third had gained racing experience in the spring when fourth of nine in a maiden race at Ballyarthur. The winner is well regarded at home and described as a very straightforward type who is easy to handle. She is the first foal of her dam, who was a point-to-point and hurdles winner, and from the family of Galway Hurdle winner Black Queen, who foaled the smart chaser Bold Sir Brian.

25 Roc of Dundee (IRE) by Shirocco (GER) x Miss Dundee (IRE)

P2P.ie review: This well-bred daughter of Shirocco was a fair third on debut before running into the useful Rockonsoph at Turtulla on her second start. The front pair drew ten lengths clear of the third suggesting that this pair were a class above their rivals and it further confirmed the progression that this mare is making. She is a sister to the very smart Ben Dundee and from the family of the high class Nick Dundee and Ned Kelly suggesting she is one who can go on to bigger and better things with this promising grounding behind her now.
