P2P Review - Clear Ability is certainly a tough mare with a game attitude which she had already demonstrated at Stradbally last May when she raced clear of the field in what was just the second ride in the career of her young rider. When headed in the home straight on that occasion she could easily have wilted, but to her immense credit she bravely fought back and in spite of the winner doing everything to intimidate her after the final fence she just failed to get up. Her return from the summer break saw her once again meet with an agonising narrow defeat as she continued to race from the front at Loughrea. Showing her adaptability to a slower surface, she still jumped the last with the narrow advantage only to be headed close home. Notably the pair pulled some 16 lengths clear of their other rivals.
