P2P.ie review: Minella Beauty fared a lot better on his return from a summer break when re-appearing at Toomebridge on the opening day of the season. On this occasion, he encountered far softer conditions than had been the case on his debut at Dawstown in May when sixth on Good ground. The son of Shirocco travelled strongly throughout at the notably undulating course, making progress into the race ride through the final circuit, to leave him at the head of affairs before the home bend. Having led the field down to the final fence, it was only in the shadows of the post that he was overhauled and denied what had seemed a likely success after initially making his move.
