P2P.ie Review: A mistake at the sixth-last fence proved costly for Fancy A Dance when he made his debut at Loughanmore in mid-May, ultimately returning in seventh position at the line. The Arcadio-sired gelding gave a much better account of himself when lining up in the final four-year-old maiden of the season at Ballingarry in June. Jumping in a particularly assured fashion in this 14-runner contest, he was sitting right on the heels of the leaders along the back straight, only for the leader to slip-up on the level, badly inconveniencing him. To his credit, he overcame that costly interference, and was doing all of his best work in the closing stages to finish a closing second at the line. Beaten by just a length, he has to be considered an unlucky looser here.
