He was well in control of this maiden and still seemed to have any amount in the tank when a bizarre incident saw him exit at the last. While he didn’t seem to make a mistake at the final fence he jinked in jumping it and ejected his luckless rider. The ability had been well proven at this stage as he looked destined for an impressive success when this incident occurred. It is worth noting that the time of this race was twelve seconds faster than the average time on the day and yet that does not account for the time this fellow would have clocked had he stayed on his feet. An exciting addition to any catalogue.
