P2P.ie Review: This daughter of Malinas finished second on debut at Ballyragget to the exciting Fancy Girl. This was a notable effort as she lost her place at a key point in the race with a couple of errors which can be attributed to inexperience. The way she has managed to move back into the race when plenty were competing at the end of the back straight. She quickened through the field and her jumping improved as the race progressed as she stayed on strongly to the line. The very ethos of pointing is to allow time to educate youngsters for a bright future and this almost happened mid race for this mare. She learned in the early part of the race and even though this left her out of position her raw ability brought her right into the mix in the closing stages. There can be little doubt about her ability based on this early evidence.
