P2P Review: Faced two potentially smart rivals when making his debut in a four-year-old maidens' race at Edgcote in Oxfordshire on Sunday, but prepped by Britain's champion trainer of pointers, clearly knew his job and duly won in good style. Having been prominent or leading for much of the race, he appeared to be in command when producing a fluent jump at the final fence. One rival fell at that point, hampering the other contender, but they were under pressure at the time and it is hard to believe this horse did not win on merit. A graduate of Goffs' Land Rover Sale, he has become the first winner for his dam, who herself won a point-to-point and was a half-sister to the smart hurdler/chasers Benrajah and City Heights.
