He had cruised through to the lead before the second last in a fast run contest where he had stamped his authority in no uncertain terms before landing over the second last. Such was the gruelling test this race offered that the rivals from the Colin Bowe and Donnchadh Doyle yard were pulling up at this point while the second last fence faller took something of a tired fall. Even in coming home along from that point this fellow clocked a reasonable time and a mistake at the last merely served to indicate how much he had in the tank at this time. From the family of Snitton Lane he looks an exciting addition to the catalogue.
