The time of this race was an exceptional seventeen seconds faster than average so it is of particular note the power of the final surge from this winner. He stayed on very strongly between the final two fences and continued to widen the gap all the way to the line. It was a very informative effort as it showed he is very much comfortable off a strong pace and also holds the stamina required to contest top class prizes in the future. The acceleration he showed between the final two fences suggests he has the attributes to compete at the very top of the national hunt table. His dam won a bumper from only three outings for Tom Cooper suggesting there is ample talent in the pedigree to afford this fellow a very bright future indeed.
